General Manager

Boing City Party Rentals is hiring a General Manager to lead our day-to-day rental operation. This is a hands-on leadership role: you will direct the team, coordinate deliveries and pickups, solve customer issues, and step into field work when the operation needs you.
What you will own
- Lead, schedule, coach, and hold team members accountable for safe, reliable work.
- Plan daily dispatch, truck and trailer assignments, deliveries, setups, pickups, and event coverage.
- Keep customers informed and resolve urgent service issues with sound judgment.
- Oversee equipment preparation, cleaning, inspections, inventory, and warehouse readiness.
- Maintain safety standards for vehicles, trailers, inflatables, tents, and event equipment.
- Track priorities, identify bottlenecks, and improve the team’s execution and communication.
Required qualifications
- Experience directly managing employees and leading a team.
- Hands-on experience hitching, towing, and backing a trailer; a valid driver’s license and driving record suitable for company vehicle duties.
- Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.
- Ability to work on site and outdoors in Oklahoma heat.
- Ability to repeatedly lift and move items weighing more than 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, time management, and clear communication skills.
- Ability to keep staff and customers calm, informed, and safe when plans change.
